Tran Hung Dao Biography

Tran Hung Dao (Chinese: 陳興 道, 1228 - August 20, 1300), whose real name is Tran Quoc Tuan, also known as Hung Dao Vuong (興 道 王) or Nhan Vu Hung Dao Vuong (仁武 興 道 大王) is a politician, writer, Supreme Commander (National Public Abstinences) of Vietnam Tran Dynasty.

He is one of the main commanders of the Tran in reversing three invasions of the Mongols and later the Mongols-Highlands in the 13th century he was considered one of the most outstanding military in history.

Tran Hung Dao real name is Tran Quoc Tuan (陳國峻), son's 3rd Tran Lieu, called Tran Thai Tong with his uncle, his mother Thien Dao National Model (善 道 國 母) [citation needed], one of Ton Tran. He has at the same time foster mother's aunt, Ms. Princess Swedish (瑞 婆 公主) [1]. He was born in the capital of Thang Long, Jimo native village, Loc Vuong Ward, Nam Dinh City today [2]. In 1237, he was 5 years old he was adopted aunt Swedish Ms. Princess, because his father was against the court Lieu Tran (Tran Thu).
